Free Stuff Day

While the weather was still warm, we had a FREE WOOD Day.  Now we will have a FREE STUFF Day.

The Rochester Woodcarvers have received a number of donations from people who have stopped carving or passed away.  The intention is that these items be passed along to folks who will find them useful, along with financially supporting our education activities.

What:  Wood, carving and other woodworking related items are available for free.  Some of the items are shown in this slide show: https://photos.app.goo.gl/kne3uPUDaRQNEBdc6 (Click on a photo to open a slide show, right & left to step through the slides.)  There are more items that were not photographed.
Some of these items and sets are worth more than $100 and others top $300.

Cost:  All items are free.  Free Will donations are requested.  The money will be used to support carving related classes offered to the public as well as groups like the Scouts.

Where:  Zumbro Lutheran Church – Fireside Room – Enter through the South Door.  Here is a Google Map and a Map in & outside the Church.
Park
on the south side of the church including the Soldiers Field Veterans Memorial parking lot.

When:  Saturday February 21, 9:15 am – The electronic lock will open at 9:15!  No one is allowed in before 9:15!

Who: Open to any carver, turner, wood worker or anyone.  Sponsored by the Rochester Woodcarvers Club

What to Bring:  Bring some cash to donate.  (Checks made out to Rochester Woodcarvers work too.)

After: Everyone is invited to attend the club’s regular monthly meeting starting at 9:45.
