The Virtual Table of Mark Behrends

An interest of mine is turning unique, one of a kind bowls from burls and other interesting wood. I had the good fortune of an ample supply last winter.

The bowls in the photos range from 6” to 15” in diameter and are from locally sourced cherry, white oak, cottonwood and ash trees. They are finished with tung oil/varnish resin and carnauba wax.

I’m always willing to share some of my creations with those who assist me in locating wood that will fuel my passion.
